This video was shot from the top floor (7th floor) of the Circus Circus parking structure (Lot 1). I had insider (someone from the Riviera Hotel/Casino) information about this implosion a month ago that it was going to occur on Monday morning at 2AM. So I was there on March 12th from midnight till 6AM and nothing happened. I had a lot of time to stake out the area to find the best location. The implosion was kept secret until the day of March 12th, Monday.

Then it was made public all over the news and radio that it was going to happen on Tuesday morning, March 13th at 2AM. So there was some communication error with my inside source and I was there a day early. But it actually turned out for the best because it gave me an opportunity to find the best filming location. Otherwise I would have ended up on the strip like everyone else.

I really hate when people call it an implosion. It’s not an implosion. It’s a series of EXplosions causing a building to fall down.

Its both..C4/dyomite in certain places to explode..the IMplosion is just be be safe so it falls inward, staight down - not to kill anyone.

Holy crap!!! I bet they spent as much money on that fireworks show as much as it costed to bring down the building. Too bad to see some of the old Vegas go though. I was just there 2 years ago on my honeymoon. Had so good times at the Stardust…RIP…thanks for all the good years of fun.

What a bore! Lights out, then search lights and no building- okay, but would rather see it come down. Notice how the twin towers came down the exact same way? NOT!
